Our client, a major Global Brand Construction Products Company, is looking to hire a Marketing Manager Canada – RESPONSILITY: Profitably grow product groups by developing, implementing and driving marketing/business strategies and tactical action plans – be the voice of customer using end user market research insights, customer POS, and macro market trends to effectively manage the product portfolio and drive new product development – market and product planning – new product introduction – financial analysis – market research – marketing communications – Collect and synthesize customer insights and competitive intelligence through field observation and interviews, market research and channel knowledge – Develop the annual integrated marketing plans for assigned product categories – Use data driven information to develop product strategies and specifications – Lead new product rollout efforts including forecasting volumes, designing market tests, planning PK sessions and sales and channel training – Develop and implement thorough price strategies and promotions to grow the business in these product areas – Evaluate and report on product performance – sales volume, sell through, margins and market share – Manage the product cycle – WOULD LIKE TO SEE: progressive marketing experience in a brand or product management role for Industrial / Construction products – pricing and promotion experience preferred – Bachelor’s degree
