Our client, a manufacturer of specialty vehicle components with 10+ locations globally, is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Specialist – PPAP’s for new products / product changes – Good understanding of ISO programs (i.e 9001, 14000, TS16949) – Focus on CAPA (containment, root cause, corrective/ preventative and closure) and their response to quality/warranty complaints. Work with team to solve supplier problems – Provide regular input to management on the status of Quality issues/trends/improvements – Support (Evaluate/Correct) Production line Quality issues associated with vendor rejects – Monitor quality / warranty performance KPI’s to ensure on track – Create quality reports/presentations for internal/external stakeholders – Involve in Continuous Internal Improvement activity ( i.e 5S/Lean/6 Sigma Projects/Morning Market) – Support Supplier quality function during Product launch/ Pilot run build – Perform Audits (Product/Process/ISO/Line) as required – Create, Update and Maintain Quality documentation (procedures/processes/forms) – Proficiency with Microsoft office
