Matthew Standish

Partner and Co-Founder

Matt co-founded Everest Management Network Inc. in 1990. He currently shares leadership of the firm’s recruiting operations, while directly serving a broad range of clients in fields such as Executive Search, Financial Services and HVAC Services.

Matt began his career in recruitment immediately after graduating from university and has never looked back. Prior to starting Everest, he worked at a national search company for seven years, rising rapidly through the ranks. Matt is a passionate entrepreneur who believes strongly that the key to successful recruitment is finding top-quality candidates where no one else is even looking. Employing a highly consultative approach, he partners with his clients to fill critical roles and build cohesive management teams that drive long-term growth.

Matt earned an economics degree from Western University and holds his CPC certification from the Association of Canadian Search, Employment & Staffing Services (ACSESS). For many years, Matt served as a member of ACSESS’ Ontario Board of Directors.

Julius Spetter

Partner and Co-Founder

Julius co-founded Everest Management Network Inc. in 1990 and currently shares leadership of the firm’s recruiting operations, while directly serving his diverse roster of clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations.

Before entering the recruiting and staffing profession, Julius worked in international business, gaining hands-on experience in managing complex client challenges and providing top-level customer service. Julius is a firm believer that in recruiting, “one size does not fit all.” Rather, he advocates for a customized approach based on close consultation with his clients and creative problem-solving.

Julius is known for maintaining robust talent pipelines in his areas of focus. His track record includes reliably delivering top candidates for difficult-to-fill positions and building entire teams.
